Jingle Bells Jingle Bells!

This Christmas was everything I thought it would be, exciting and busy! The girls were so much more fun this year too. They both caught onto the whole unwrapping gifts very quickly. That's why I didn't put our gifts under the tree until Christmas Eve at night. They kept running off and trying to open the gifts at their Grandma's house. We discovered this year that Tamryn is quite skilled and determined to unwrap gifts and any other boxes within her reach. We spent Christmas Eve in Las Vegas where we visited my Grandma and Grandpa Peterson before heading to my parents house for dinner and gifts. Christmas morning was spent at our home just the four of us. Josh made a yummy breakfast after the girls opened up Santa's gifts. Then we opened up the gifts under the tree. When the girls went down for their nap, Josh and I actually worked on an outside project for a little bit. I was able to play with my new ipad for a bit too. We spent part of the afternoon at our friend Vera's home and enjoyed some more delicious food. Then our friends Justin, Lexie, and baby Dylan came over to visit in the evening. We are so grateful for all of our friends and family that we were able to enjoy the holiday weekend with, and I can't even imagine how much fun it will be next year!

The girls checking out Great Grandma Peterson's gift with her

Tamryn and Grandma who was so excited to share Christmas Eve with the girls

A very excited Tamryn

Tamryn loved her fairy princess wand and played with it for most of the night.

This is a perfect example of Tatum and her piles. She loves to gather different items together, and of course she had to put some of her gifts in a tidy little pile for her to enjoy : )

Family picture time! The Peterson's pretty much all grown up!

The Taylor's-our little family of four. Notice Josh's super fashionable hat he got from my Mom. He wore it for the entire night, even in the car on the hour long drive home. He LOVES it!

Grammy and her two granddaughters : )

The girls loved getting their new cars. If seemed like bumper cars!

Santa brought the girls their very own kitchen! They LOVED it and played with it for over an hour before we finally pried them off of it so we could eat breakfast and open up the gifts under the tree.

Tamryn already running around with food pieces from the new kitchen.

Tamryn of course loved opening the big box full of new clothes!

The girls loved their new cube toy.

Nothing sweeter than opening gifts in the morning together

The girls loved getting their cool new books, especially the ones that made noises.

Dylan got the girls a bubble machine, and wow did they love it, especially Tamryn who is quite obsessed with bubbles to begin with.

The girls, me, Lexie, and Dylan...What a fun way to end Christmas!
